News from today!
Yesterday we did archery and abseiling. Archery was more fun the
Aboudi:
first time in archery was hard. When we did abseiling we saw this penguin (it was a pigeon - Miss D.) in a nest with eggs. Abseiling was scary when the man said put your feet over the ledge but it was amazing. At seven thirty we went to the disco till nine and it was so fun that it only felt like twenty minutes .

PGL is the best experience I had where I can do loads of fun activities such as
kayaking, sailing and rock climbing. I met all my friends and had loads of chances to talk to them and and hang about with them in my room.In loads of activities I had to face my fears but I came through them and now I am much more confid
ent than I was before.PGL has got me to trust my friends, not to be scared of certain things and made me learn so many things which I am now really good at although most of them where the first time I've ever done them.
PGL is the best trip I have ever been on and experienced in my whole life!!!!
Fun from yesterday!
Yesterday was a thrilling and busy day! We were racing between archery, abseiling, the giant swing and kayaking, but nothing could compare to the thrill of the disco!! Many of the children were unavailable for blogging as the preparations began in earnest straight after dinner, Mr Williams was particularly excited wearing Zoe's hat! My nail stand was popular even though there were only two colours. Although I shan't be leaving teaching to set up my own manicure shop, as the finish was less than professional! The children were sad that the disco finished at 9 o'clock, especially after all the outfit preparation, but were asleep very quickly and it was tricky to wake them at 7.15!
This morning, the children had to pack, remove the sheets and tidy their rooms before activities could begin. Two groups are kayaking this morning and another group on the trapeze and low ropes. Then sandwiches for lunch and on the bus back to school! Will hopefully find some children to blog before we return!
Here are some entries from yesterday:
Gaia: today was one of the most fun, but relaxing days today at PGL! In the morning we did Jacobs ladder and aeroball, then in the afternoon we went sailing. On the boat I nearly fell asleep! Right now we are about to start a dance competition! PGL is so fun!!! Goodnight to all the people at home, we all miss you very much!

Today I did archery and I used the hardest bow it was really hard in the morning then after that I did absailing it was incredible we had to enter a tower and the walk 3 flights of stairs then had to walk down a big wall after that we had lunch then we did the giant swing my favourite activities so far. After that we did low ropes not my favourite but it was still really fun!
Today group three did archery first and then absailing.
After lunchtime, they went kayaking at the Weymouth sailing academy and were taught to kayak at a five star rate. Overall, group three had a great time.

News from group 1 - plus we saw a butterfly!
Nathan
This morning group 1&2 had sailing. We left to an area out of the site to do our sailing. When we arrived we walked to our boat and placed the sails on the boat then left on our boat. It was so fun, especially when the instructor rocked the boat.

News from the group!
Reina ;
Today, me, Amalia and Noora woke up around 7:25am. We went to breakfast and I ate baked tomatoes, sausage and I drank tea. The tomato was delicious!
I went to do sailing, but I thought I had to jump in the water. But in the end, the instructor just did the sailing and we helped a little bit to sail. The wind was gone, and we put the sails down. We used the engine a little bit, and nearly ran out of petrol. When we arrived back to the port, I put my big life vest off, and I hopped onto the bus. Later when we came back to the PGL rooms, we went to the tuck shop and then, I bought a cup with a straw stuck and a snack.
Noora
It was so exciting and fun. My favourite is the giant swing it is the best.so you have to be in pairs and the rest of the people have to pull a rope and it makes you go higher.
The picture is of where we have all our meals!

Lunch time news
Mary: yesterday was my favourite day because we started with sensory trail and it was so fun because there are ropes hanging and you think that there are snakes. After we had out door climbing and that was a bit scared so I went half way through. After lunch we had giant swing and that was the best activity so far , I had to pull the rope while Gaia was nice and relaxed and there was a competition it was to make a weird face but naturally and I came third. After that there was problem solving which was also really fun
Kiss Mary
Yesterday was mad with the giant swing and the climbing wall .
Today was even better because of the aeroball .
The giant swing was the best by far.

Aeroball
Here is the magic of aeroball!
Friederike : We did aeroballing and Jacob's ladder. For aeroballing you have to try and throw the ball through the hoop, whilst on a trampoline. There are two other people on the trampoline and they each have a hoop.On Jacob's ladder you have to wear a harness and climb up some logs suspended in midair whilst, your friend belays(V down to the knee,1,2,3)!

Sorry for the delay in blogging!
Well today has been SUPER busy! So much so that I have no children's entries for this evening! The children were all awake by 6.45 this morning and keen to get going. Luckily the teachers like to be awake early too and so we were all first in line for breakfast.
The children were then keen to get going on their activities; from climbing to problem solving, sensory trails and a giant swing! They have even had singing, a pirate challenge and cluedo to fit in between their activities. I think they will sleep well tonight, especially with all the fresh air! It was a bit misty this morning but we now have some wonderful sunshine. Which is perhaps just as well as because the weather forecast is for rain...
Tomorrow we are taking it in turns for sailing in the morning and afternoon and the other groups will be playing on Jacob's ladder and a ball game on trampolines called 'aeroball'. It all looks fantastic!
The teachers are enjoying sharing the activities with the children, I was lucky enough to get covered in half a bucket of water in the name of teamwork!
Best wishes from all here, we look forward to ringing you tomorrow!
